[Mission]
CAN-CWiC is modeled after the well known Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) held annually in the US, which, in 2016 attracted over 14,000 attendees and sold out in one day! The goal of CAN-CWiC is to provide students, faculty and professional women in Canada opportunities for networking , sharing and mentoring. It is an opportunity for the Canadian technology industry to recruit top Canadian talent. It is hoped that CAN-CWiC will help build the computer science community within Canada, with significant benefits for all. [Activités]
The conference will feature prominent keynote speakers, a research forum, a poster session, technical talks, as well as interactive panel/workshop sessions. The career fair will provide a chance to recruit top talent and to showcase your company as a role model for diversity. Sponsors are encourage to promote the great women within their own organizations through their participation in panel sessions, talks and the career fair. |

CAN-CWiC is expected to draw over 600 attendees from across Canada and will include students at all levels of study, faculty from top Canadian universities and colleges as well as professionals from industry. As a sponsor, you will have an opportunity to meet and recruit potential employees for your organization. Sponsorship contributions allow us to greatly reduce the registration fees for interested students and renders the conference accessible to all. [Avantages]

Perhaps you would like to sponsor one of our conference events or services? Your organization will be advertised as the sponsor of the event/service, will be invited to participate in the career fair, have access to the resume database. As well, you will receive 5 banquet tickets for your representatives to attend the Friday evening banquet.
Wi-Fi: $6,000 -- provide complementary Wi-Fi to attendees during the conference
A/V: $10,000 -- provide the A/V for the conference
Poster Session: $7,000 -- provide space/poster board rentals/coffee for our poster session to be held on Friday evening
Conference Breakfast: $8,000
Bus Transportation: $10,000 -- provide bus transportation for all of our "local" students (from the western parts of ON to Montreal)
Travel Scholarships: $10,000 -- provide travel scholarships to students from provinces other than Ontario and Quebec
