Call for Participation
We are looking for participation in CAN-CWiC in the following areas:
Workshop/Panel/Session Proposals -- lead a workshop (including but not limited to: technical topics, interview skills, resume writing, communication etc). Proposals will be accepted by the general public as well as sponsors of the conference. We would like to include as many people as possible in our program so we may suggest collaborative efforts and we may be able to help find appropriate people for accepted panel ideas. These sessions will be approximately 50 minutes in length. If your session will require more time, please indicate below.
Grad Student Forum -- 5 minute "lightning talks" on your research topic or a topic of interest to you.
Poster Session -- Posters are a great way to present your work. Posters can be on new or previously published work, outreach activities, summer or independent projects etc. The poster session is open to students at all levels of study.
If you would like to participate in one of these areas, please submit your proposal for the appropriate session below.
Please note that participation is on a voluntary basis. No pay, stipend or honorarium will be provided for those running workshops or sessions. There will, however, be prizes for best poster and best lightening talks!
Deadline: Submissions will be accepted up to October 9th, 2015. Acceptances will be sent by October 31st, 2015.
